Galaxy Tab A9+ launched in South Korea

A few weeks ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A9 series in India. The company's new affordable tablet lineup consists of two models: Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+. Today, Samsung has announced that it is launching the Galaxy Tab A9+ in its home country, South Korea.

The Galaxy Tab A9+ will be available in two variants: Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 5G. The price is KRW 368,500 ($270) for the Wi-Fi-only variant and KRW 418,000 ($307) for the Wi-Fi + 5G variant. There are two colors: Graphite and Silver, and the latter is an exclusive color available from Samsung's website.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Tab A9+ with an 11-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses the Snapdragon 695 processor, which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion by up to an additional 1TB. On the front, it has a 5MP camera with Full HD video recording at 30fps. The rear-facing 8MP camera has autofocus and can record Full HD videos at 30fps.

The Galaxy Tab A9+ has a quad-speaker setup in stereo mode. It features GPS, 5G (only in the cellular model), Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 with LE, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 7040mAh battery that supports up to 15W fast charging. The tablet runs Android 13 (One UI 5.1) out of the box and will get at least two major Android OS updates. The tablet can also run Samsung DeX on the screen.
