Samsung released the first One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy S23 series three weeks ago, and it was expected that the company would release the second beta update would be released on August 29. However, the company announced that it plans to release the One UI 6.0 Beta 2 update on August 31. But it has delayed the release once again.
Samsung has now announced (via @IceUniverse) in its Community Forum in China that it has delayed the release of the One UI 6.0 Beta update from August 31 to September 4. This is a delay of four days, and the update will now arrive early next week. We are not sure why Samsung is delaying the release of the next One UI 6.0 beta update, but it would likely be due to bugs.
We have the first One UI 6.0 beta update installed on our Galaxy S23 Ultra, and we've encountered a lot of minor bugs. The animations stutter every now and then, apps and widgets disappear from the home screen sometimes, and the Color Palette feature doesn't work reliably. Custom placement of the clock widget on the lock screen doesn't work yet. Battery life isn't as good as it was when the phone was running One UI 5.1 with the August 2023 update.
Hopefully, Samsung will have solved most of these issues by the time it releases the second One UI 6.0 beta update on September 4. It is expected that the company will open the One UI 6.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in India, Poland, and the UK as well. You can watch all the major new features and improvements that Samsung has introduced with the One UI 6.0 update in our in-depth video below.
