The Minato One Shot spin-off manga was released quite recently and it did a phenomenal job of adding characterization to both Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki primarily. There are other characters who were also focused on in the manga, however, these two were the crux of this spin-off, and that shouldn't be a surprise to any fan, given their special relationship.
